Using btrfs Snapshots For Full System Roll Back - Matthias Eckermann, SUSE

Always have a "well-known state" where you can go back - this helps to minimize risk for the administrator as well as the owner of a line of business depending on the running systems. With btrfs we have now reached the point, where not only the "well-known state" is implemented
("Snapshot"), but also the "go back" works: "roll back". Attendees will learn about the ingredients to achieve this (btrfs, snapper, grub2 bootloader integration), how this can be used, and where we can head to on this basis. Beyond this, snapshotting with btrfs will be compared to other ways of snapshotting in Linux. The session includes a live demonstration.
